Had a terrible experience on a deck build with this contractor. On June 18th Jason showed up and said it would be a 4 day job. A few days later a contract was signed with a tentative start date of 6 or 13 July. After 7 start date changes, finally started on August 18th. From day 1, I had the decking material on site and the railing picked out and just needed a stair count to order railing. I reminded him 3 times and was ignored before they showed up to start. After a 3 week wait for a custom paint job, (which should have been easily avoided) the job was completed on October 6th. There were 3 minor issues at completion that he was aware of and when I inquired about them, he said the job was finished and threatened an intent to file a lien if I did not pay. Payment was never an issue, but in my opinion, his arrogance is. The guys working for him did a good job. The stairs were built 20 inches wider than originally designed and material ordered. He said it was because of code requirements. Absolutely not true! I suggest you use someone else.
