Theater Room With Bar Area | Jul 2015 | We remodeled a basement that was used by the homeowners children while they were growing up. The space then was used as a dance practice space, art area and game area for there children and their friends. The one problem we encountered when we pulled the carpet up was the floor was unlevel in one corner (about 1 1/2") so we used a self leveling agent to level off the area before continuing with the demo and remodeling. The area was transformed into a theater area with a projector and large screen at one end of the room and the other end was turned into a bar/wine area to house the owner many collections of wine. The area also has extra bar seating, bar/prep sink, plenty of storage and wine/beverage fridges. The cabinets are custom made with Cherry and topped with a black marbled granite top as were the window ledges in the room. Attached to the area on the other side of the stairway we added a custom built in desk and file cabinet in Cherry and topped with a laminate top. There is also a quiet little seating area for reading. All trim, moldings, interior doors were installed & stained to match The half bath received a face lift with a new paint job, flooring and light. | $63k | Fargo, ND
Kitchen Remodel | May 2014 | This couple have lived in and raised their children in for over 30 years and approached us about remodeling their kitchen. There were a few things they had that they wanted to add to the new kitchen such as the glass cutting board in the counter top and their sink. | $29k | Mapleton, ND
New Single Family Build | May 2014 | This is a new custom single family home we built. The type of home is a ranch style with 1 master bedroom, 2 bedrooms on the opposite side of the home , 1 full bath that is located between the 2 bedrooms, main living area in an open concept which houses the gathering room, kitchen and dining area. The master bedroom has an adjoining en suite and walk in closet with plenty of storage. The ceiling in the master has a lighted cove which gives off a wonderful, calming glow in the evening. There is a tray ceiling in the gathering room and has a sliding barn door which can be closed off the guest/children's area. The dining area has a full view door that leads out onto the deck area. The kitchen area has all stainless steel appliances and a little extra touch with a paper towel holder built into one of the cabinets (our signature). Off the kitchen area is a pantry, laundry and back entry that leads into the triple stall garage. This house also has a full/unfinished basement ready for the new homeowners to plan for future needed space... maybe a theater room? | $279k | Sabin, MN
Moorhead Shop Build | Mar 2014 | Built this shop on the owners land next to their existing garage. They wanted another place to be able to work on his equipment. On the interior we used metal siding for easy maintenance, durability and cleaning. The owner chose to go with an over sized fan for ventilating the area when at work. | $41k | Moorhead, MN
Deck In Lake Country | Mar 2013 | Here we tore down the existing cedar deck and built a maintenance free deck. For the railing we put up a Mountain Laurel branch insert with a maintenance free rail and posts caped off with gray metal caps (custom made). The Mountain Laurel branches will weather to a gray color to match the gray metal caps we used for the post caps. This deck will never need staining again which will leave more fun to enjoy the lake activities. Looks awesome with their rustic lake home in Minnesota lake country! | $10k | Pelican Rapids, MN
Bathroom Facelift | May 2012 | This homeowner asked us to re-do her bathroom. She did not want to give up the corner make up station and linen cabinet so we spruced it up and gave it new life. The interesting story of this piece is that the man that lived in the house before she bought it had built pianos and this is another item he built for his wife in his own home. She also wanted to keep the bathtub so we refinished that as well. New tile was added to the shower walls along with an aging in place grab bar. Added a new lighting, flooring, toilet and custom vanity. The medicine cabinet was reused as well. | $9k | Fargo, ND
Sunroom | Apr 2012 | This homeowner wanted to transform their 3 season sunroom into a year round sunroom. New double hung vinyl windows were added, spray foam insulation was added in the ceiling, cedar plank wood ceiling, heated ceramic flooring which has an exit out back to overlook a lake and two separate doors leading into the home. What an awesome place to now use as a year round relaxing area to view the lake and read a book or play games with the kids. | Fargo, ND |
