The POA or HOA will not allow like colors, usually, within 5 houses on either side of your home. In most cases, this will include the houses beside your home as well as the houses across the street and the houses behind your home.   | Rust removal and Repaint Charleston , SC | Sep 2014 | First, brush the entire roof with wire brushes to remove all of the loose rust. Second, spray on a rust "killer". Third, caulk the chimney, vent stacks, and open gaps with a high quality caulk. Forth, apply a primer coat over the entire surface. The product used in these pictures comes from Sherwin Williams.
