H&S paving and sealcoating

AVOID THIS COMPANY!! Henry Stanley came to sealcoat our driveway the beginning of November 2020. He said he would be back around the end of the month to assess product settlement and washout in cracks and has never returned. Anytime we reached out to him, his response was always "I'll come out next week" and has never returned. Fast forward to October 2021, he said he would issue a refund, just give him a few days. He has not issued a refund and has appeared to have disappeared as he has completely stopped responding.

I wanted an extension on my driveway. I was guaranteed a 5 year warranty. After he did the work, I noticed a huge crack in the driveway. I called him and he always made excuses not to come. When I was frustrated for his continuous stalling, I posted my review on Thumbtack. After I did that, he immediately messaged me saying to take the down the review and I will come back and fix the driveway. After I refused and said finish the job first then I will take it down, he did not answering me. Terrible service and I would not recommend this to anyone. Such an unprofessional company! Now I have to find a new service and pay more money to repair the mess Henry made. At least honor your word about the warranty and don't make it a scam. It has been almost 4 months.

Our driveway was sealcoated and cracks repaired on 10/06/2018 . We asked if it was ok to do the work that day because rain was in the forecast . We were assured it would not be a problem. The driveway cracks washed out in the rain and we were told H&S would take care of problem. They did return, but used the same material as the first time and two days later the fill washed out again. H & S said they would have to order a different material to fill the cracks and he would fix the job that same week. We had to keep calling him and he repeatedly said he would be out to do the work. The last date set was 11/09/2018. Once again he pulled a no show (weather was good) . After trying numerous times to resolve this, I feel that I have no recourse then to write this review and report him to the Better Business Bureau. H & S five year warranty is worthless!

Henry talks a good game but doesn’t finish his job. We had a driveway installed July 24, 2018 and he promised to finish the seal coating upon curing of the driveway. We are now going on the third month since the driveway has cured but he won’t come out and finish the job. He has promised to finish the job at least 8 times but fails to show. All this after he was paid in full and cashed my check. Do not pay in full until the job is 100% completed.
