I had terrible experience with Joseph Peters for Kitchen remodel. His contract are very open ended and he will frequently request contract addendums for even the basics. He will demand full up front payments and you cannot trust him to complete the job per code. In my case, I payed him 1/3 of about 40K contract for high end kitchen remodel, assuming he would do the right things. Later i came to know that he was not planning to get permits or even add insulation to the walls. He wanted 5K extra money for removing old walls, adding insulation and was unwilling to get necessary electrical, building and plumbing permits. He will do the minimum required to get the money. When working with him, you feel that he is holding you hostage. I had to fire him after very little work and I have not got any refunds from him. BUYER BEWARE.
