We have a private well with high iron content in the water. Our softener(Iron Pro 48K Combination Water Softener & Iron Filter with Fleck 5600SXT Digital Metered Valve) is 4 years old and operated very well until 2 months ago. Manual regeneration helped slightly, but now our water is very hard. We have used only iron rid softener salt. We have been told that being only 4 years old, the softener should be repairable...not needed to be replaced. We would like to find someone with experience working on the Fleck (Pentair) controller to get our softener working again.
