Royal Pool Service & More, LLC

We moved into our home last year and the previous owners recommended this pool service. We had them close the pool last October and open the pool this past April. Our experience was great. In early May our salt water system wasn't working properly. I emailed the company to schedule an appointment for them to come out and look at the system. They scheduled us for May 25th since that was the earliest Wednesday they could come out. No one showed up for our appointment. I tried to call with no answer. I texted with no answer. I finally emailed and received a response the next morning. Their scheduling system crashed and they had forgotten about my appointment. We rescheduled for Tuesday June 7th. They showed up on Monday June 6th. I was unable to attend the appointment since I had to work. They did call me and we spoke over the phone, but I was unable to see the issue that I was told about. Upon arriving home I checked the system, but was unable to see the issue discussed over the phone. I emailed the company to ask to not be charged for the visit in light of the original no show appointment and the wrong day for the second appointment, since I was unable to attend the appointment and the technician was only at my home for about 10 minutes. About 30 minutes later I received a call from the owner. She apologized for the mistakes made with the appointments and said she would not be charging me for the visit. She then proceeded to tell me that the technician had noticed when they opened the pool (in April) that the saltwater system wasn't working. I told her that the system was working until May and that if there had been an issue why wasn't I told? She then begins to yell at me that the system is a cheap Amazon system that they do not service. Keep in mind that they have been servicing this pool since before we moved in. If it was a system they do not service they would have been aware of it before I asked for the appointment in May. If you are looking for a company to open or close your pool they are a great choice. The technicians were very friendly and did a great job. If you need service other than this I would not recommend them. The way I was spoken to today was very unprofessional.

These are the rudest people I have ever dealt with in business. I would never consider doing business with these people. They immediately got rude when I asked about buying a pool liner from the company I bought my last one from. They claim to make pool liners but their business address is a residential home. Steer clear or don't say I didn't warn you. IN RESPONSE TO THEIR COMMENT: They are lying. They NEVER talked to me whatsoever other than sending me an estimate over email, then another estimate over email when they realized they made an error. That was the ONLY contact I ever had with them before they asked if they could call me and then I just called them. They were IMMEDIATELY rude with me so don't believe their "we told him" story. It is a lie. I can't believe how shady these people are. How did they get a 4.8? Their google rating was a 2.3.
