Chris and Tom's Billiard Sevice If you are having an old pool table installed avoid this company like the plague. I can go on and on about how they needed to use some of my tools and how I called a friend to help me carry the slate down stairs because I didn't want them to mess up my walls or stairs. The real issue is the finished product. Every end of the bumpers at the pockets looks different. Some have rubber showing some have 4 staples showing some only have one staple some have no staples. Some have the felt bunched up on a wad some have the felt with an edge that looks like it was cut with a saw. I showed the visable rubber to tom and he said that's wood! It was clearly rubber. When I talked to Chris about the things I saw she said, well he doesn't see that good....well sight is important. On the first game I found a spot with a noticeable ridge on the slate where it changed the direction of a ball. On one side pocket there is a ridge that stopped a ball from falling in the pocket. I called the company who contracted with them and they said they will send out another crew to fix the problems. I'm sure they will respond to this with I'm sorry we were unable to make you happy or we tried ....... if I was paid $950 for doing that poor of a job, I would take that money and leave the area. No I do not want you to come back and fix it... I want someone with less experience but more skill to make it look like it should.

Avoid these people at all costs!! They damaged our side rails, reinstalled our bumpers incorrectly and left our table unlevel. We will now have to have the table refinished, releveled and there is raw wood showing all the way around from the misalignment of the bumpers. They did not keep an appointment and did not call. They actually hung up on us when we insisted they return to fix their shoddy work. Their suggestion for the showing raw wood was to "use a marker". This is a very nice pool table! These people are not licensed nor insured. BEWARE!! THESE PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!
