I assume that you are asking about replacing the water distribution pipes. Cost depends on how difficult it is to access the pipes, and on how many plumbing fixtures are in your house. I'd budget at least $3,000 to $4,000 plus the cost of repairing and repainting any wall covering that would need to be removed to gain access to pipes in the walls and ceilings. This assumes a common three bedroom, two bathroom house on a crawlspace or basement. Cost may be more if there are water distribution pipes in a concrete slab. ... Read more

The answer depends upon your capabilities, which we can't know. Proper repair of a pinhole generally requires removal of a section of pipe and replacement with new copper. If plastic is used a bonding jumper will need to be installed. It's probably best to contact a plumber. You can locate one here: https://porch.com/atlanta-ga/contractors or call us at 855.494.5972 to get started. Thank you. ... Read more

PVC is generally for drain waste and vent pipes, and cold water distribution only, outside of the building (such as irrigation). CPVC is designed for hot and cold water distribution inside of a building. Thank you. ... Read more

This symptom (if the bowl is not filling completely) sounds like the refill tube inside the tank is not inserted into the overflow tube, or is missing. This small tube is usually near the fill valve inside the tank. If the tank is not refilling this sounds like the fill valve is clogged or faulty. Best is to contact a plumber to replace this valve.
