I am removing vinyl tiles from my bathroom floor which is concrete (bungalow) and what is the best method of preparing the floor for laying more vinyl tiles
I assume that there will be quite a lot of adhesive left once the tiles are removed

Raymond: If the house is pre-1980 it is best to test to determine if the adhesive and or tiles contain asbestos as special techniques are needed for removal. Most flooring contractors will scrape the adhesive as much as possible then use a solvent to remove the remaining material. Then a vapor transmission test should be performed to determine if sealing is needed to prevent moisture damage to the new vinyl. Thank you.
