Paint Removal Labor, Basic
Labor cost, under typical conditions, for complete stripping of polyurethane, varnish, or non-lead-based paint finishes. Protection will be laid out for adjacent surfaces, then a single layer of chemical finish remover applied. Surface, edges and ridges will be scraped, and sandpaper or steel wool will be used to remove final residue. Fee is inclusive of all aspects of the project except those involved in lead-based paint removal. Thorough planning, acquisition of equipment and material, preparation and protection of project site, and meticulous cleanup are all covered.
